Life Empowerment award

Another feather in the Cap for S.D. Public School. Today in a glittering ceremony attended by the bigshots in the field of education which included Dr. Vineet Joshi, former Chairman,C.B.S.E., Prof. Kavita Sharma,President,South Asian University,New Delhi,Ms. Sonal Kalra, editor, HT City, Dr Dharamveer Singh, Chairperson,Amritsar Sahodaya, Prof. J.L. Pandey,former Professor and head of Deptt of HSS, NCERT, Prof Namita Ranganathan, Additional prof.C.I.E, Deptt of Education, wherein our School faculty members comprising of Deepika Vadera and Sunil Badoni received Life Empowerment Award in the field of promoting Art and Culture, Mr. Anil and Ms. Shallu recd the award in the field of Inclusive Education and Mr. Hemant received Life Empowerment award in the field of Health and physical fitness. What was really heartwarming was the wonderful display of Ganesh Vandana by students of S.D.P.S.  trained by Hemant Sir along with students of Akhil Bhartiya netrahin sangh( Gifted souls of God) which brought the entire audience to tears. There was a special Citation of Honour for the School seperately for Co Scholastic Development.
