Vajrasana:- Vajrasana is the simple asana which can be practiced after lunch or dinner also. Vajrasana is also known as ‘diamond pose’ which is best for practicing breathing exercises and meditation. Regular practice makes you stronger and healthier. 1. Steps Sit on the flat floor and fold your legs as shown in the above image. Keep the spine straight and close the eyes. Keep the right palm on right knee and left palm on left knee. Now start to inhale slowly then exhale. When you exhale try to think that your disorders are coming out from your nose. Repeat these steps for 5 minutes and take a rest. You can increase the time for 15 minutes. 2. Benefits of Vajrasana Calms the mind and bring stability in mind. Cures constipation, acidity, increases digestion process. Those suffering from gas problems can practice immediately after lunch or dinner. Helps to get rid of back pain. Cures stomach disorder. International Yoga Day Celebration

S.D. Public school,   Pitam Pura celebrated International Yoga Day on 21st June 2015 at the school premises. The programme started with lamp lighting and performances by school students in Rhythmic and Artistic Yoga. More than 400 Parents, students, school alumni along with teaching and non teaching staff members and distinguished guests from Sanatan Dharma pratinidhi sabha' s together performed the Suksham vayaayam, Yoga asana, Pranayama as per the guidelines issued by Ministry of Ayush. All participants took the sankalp to work for self development and self actualization by following the discipline of yoga in their life. Shri Manohar lal Bhudhiraja ( Maha Mantri ,Shri Sanatan Dharma Pratinidhi Sabha ) distribuited the certification of appreciation to all students . Mrs. Anita Sharma, Principal of the school appreciated the efforts made by Yog –Guru of school Mr.Hemant Sharma for conceptualization, coordination and implementation of the programme. International Yoga Day Celebration

S.D. Public school,  Pitam Pura celebrated International Yoga Day on 21st June 2015 at the school premises in which the members of managing committee,Principal,Parents,students,ex students, teachers,staff members as well as Sanatan Dharma pratinidhi sabha' s members  participated. The programme was organised by the students with proper guidance of Mr. Hemant Sharma, Yoga teacher. All the participants performed Suksham vayaayam, Yoga asana, Pranayama and Meditation. The students also demonstrated rhythmic and Artistic yoga. Total numbers of participants were more than four hundred. Sh. K.L. Bansal,Chairman of the school, Shri Manohar lal Bhudhiraja ( Maha Mantri ,Shri sanatan dharma pratinidhi sabha ) and Mrs. Anita Sharma, Principal of the school appreciated the programme. The certificate were awarded to every students.
